Customized Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFOs) provide joint alignment and movement control of the foot and ankle for conditions such as : Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal cord/Brain injury, and other Neurological/ Orthopaedic conditions that cause Foot and Ankle dysfunction.
Scan & Customise
Our customised AFOs are designed from the scanned digital image of our patients’ lower limbs, captured with our 3D scanners that are accurate to 0.5mm. The digital image is then modified with computer aided design softwares allowing precise joint alignment control and pressure relief.
The final digital AFO model is then fabricated with computer-aided manufacturing techniques to solid thermoplastic AFOs, 3D printed AFOs, motion controlled AFOs or dynamic pre-preg carbon fibre AFOs.
