Rafizah Abdul Rashid
Principal Physiotherapist
Rafizah is a dedicated paediatrics physiotherapist with a strong passion for assisting children in achieving their treatment goals. Having earned her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) degree from The University of Sydney in 1994, Rafizah has since embarked on a fulfilling professional journey in both Australia and Singapore. With a predominant focus on paediatrics, she pursued a Master of Physiotherapy (Paediatrics) from the University of Queensland in 2010, establishing herself as one of the most experienced paediatric physiotherapists in both countries.
Rafizah's diverse professional experience includes being part of the elite consultancy team of the Disability Services Commission in Western Australia, offering physiotherapy services to therapists within the West Australian Country Health Service. She has also worked as a paediatric physiotherapist in remote Central Australia and served as a senior physiotherapist at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Sydney from 2018 to 2021.
In Singapore, Rafizah has had the privilege of lecturing at the physiotherapy course at Nanyang Polytechnic and currently holds the position of a paediatric lecturer at the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Degree in Physiotherapy Course.
Rafizah's diverse skill set, coupled with her unwavering commitment to continuous learning, fuels her passion as a paediatric physiotherapist. She looks forward to making a positive impact in the individuals and children's journey in physiotherapy.
